Norway: Imports from Israel Double Despite Boycott Calls

Last July Norway bought goods from Israel for NOK 22 million (US$3.5 million), while the total for July 2006 was up to NOK 46 million, the newspaper Vart Land reports, based on figures compiled by Statistics Norway (SSB). Calls to boycott Israel from the Socialist Left Party and other organizations seem to have had no negative affect on consumer attitudes.
