Who murdered Lebanon’s Prime Minister in 2005?

In the wake of the February 14, 2005 assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri, some editorial cartoons and articles in the Arab press suggested that Jews and Israel were responsible for the killing. They offered up hateful, stereotypical portrayals of Jews as scheming and plotting to destabilize Lebanon, while hiding the “evidence” of their own involvement in the death of al-Hariri.
