Two Rockets Fired at Israel from Lebanon

Two katyusha rockets were fired toward Israel from inside Lebanon Monday, one landing in the sea and the other in the Israeli town of Shlomi, without causing any damage, Lebanese security sources said. Security officials said the katyusha attack was likely carried out by Palestinians. A senior commander in the Northern Command told Army Radio on Tuesday that Israel views Lebanon as “having sole responsibility” for the firing of the rockets.
