Now, if Palestine were a real country, and if the Palestinian National Covenant didn’t already contain articles within it calling to commit genocide against “the Zionist nation”, I could see how The 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Geneva) would have implicit jurisdiction, but considering that Palestine is just a name for some entity that doesn’t exist, I am suspicious of the Red Cross, considering its own Jew-hating reputation already precedes itself. From HNN:
Tonight BBC America featured a truly bizarre report by Katya Adler. There they were, Palestinian militants from Gaza wearing ski masks practicing first aid in an immaculate Geneva office. It was part of an ongoing IRCR program to give terrorists a chance to relax, excuse me learn about the Geneva Convention.
The International Red Cross has begun training Palestinian militants in Gaza as part of what it says is its worldwide effort to teach the rules of international humanitarian law in areas of armed conflict.
All armed factions in Gaza have signed up to the course, which explains the rules of war under the Geneva Convention and how to protect civilians.
The other question is, which civilians do The Red Cross want to protect – Muslim murderers who belong to no nation but who manifest loyalty to a man-god, or Jews, who are civilians and indigenous to the legitimate and sovereign nation of Israel?
