PA Interior Minister Said Siam of Hamas, who returned to Gaza via the Rafah border crossing on Tuesday, brought with him suitcases full of cash, estimated to contain from $3 million to $10 million. The cash will be used to pay salaries to thousands of palestinian policemen, senior PA officials revealed on Wednesday. Siam raised the funds during visits to Egypt, Iran, and Syria.
