Last week, American Congress for Truth, ACT for America’s “sister” organization, broke the possibility of an Al Qaeda cyber-attack after our exclusive interview with Joseph Shahda on November 1st. DEBKAfile, an Israeli military intelligence blog, reported on the dynamics behind the looming “Internet Jihad.” Shahda went into the ‘net and translated specific al Qaeda instructions to its cadres of internet warriors. Fox News then issued a story last Friday. Click the link below to read the Fox News story.
In a follow-up interview with Joseph Shahda, he told us the software that has been developed by some internet terrorists basically attacks an internet site by going after its bandwidth. In other words, each person who uses this software can go to a given website and make it appear that hundreds of people are using the site at the same time, which will eventually lead to crushing the website or sometimes costing the website a lot of money to handle the “fake” bandwidth. The software can also do hacking functions. In fact the internet terrorists claim now that they have a new version of the program called “Electronic Jihad 3.0” ready to be used by hundreds if not thousands of terrorists online to attack other sites.
We in ACT and ACT for America are evaluating tactical approaches to go on the offensive against the growing threat of “Internet Jihad.” Stay tuned…
