Israel must destroy the Islamic bully in Lebanon. The international media must demand from itself a historical literacy to go beyond the simplistic notion that the Mideast conflict is a matter of conflicting rights and Israeli “occupation” of palestinian lands. I’ve noticed that in just two weeks, the media no longer tosses around the phrase “poor palestinian people”; now it’s the “poor Lebanese people”.
Hardly ever has the media grieved for the poor Israeli people, tortured and brutalized for more than 60 years by Islamic racists and xenophobes.
The Islamic bully in Lebanon is esentially the same as the Islamic bully in Gaza which is essentially the same as the Islamic bully in Darfur which is essentially the same as the Islamic bully that attacked us on 9/11.
The international media is an accomplice to the fraud that the enemy in Lebanon is not the same as the enemy in Darfur or the enemy in Gaza. They are the same and they must be destroyed.
