An Israeli was wounded early Friday when a Palestinian opened fire at his vehicle near the Yakir Junction in the West Bank. IDF forces scoured the area for the terrorist, who opened fire at the soldiers and wounded one.
The terrorist was killed during the exchange of fire. The injured Israeli told soldiers that the decision to continue driving after being shot at apparently saved his life. Palestinian security officials said the gunman was a member of Hamas who was wanted by Israel.
