Zola Levitt

Folks, the following list of television titles is for those of you who have posited a kneejerk reaction to my praise of Zola Levitt, a pro-Israel Christian dying of cancer, who has produced these documentaries/ interviews to advance pro-Israel advocacy. I would like to ask any one of my critics to watch any one of these videos produced by Zola Levitt and then come back here and convince me in a post how Zola Levitt is not a good friend to Israel. On MuslimsV699 — “A Global Threat” with Avi LipkinV675 — Dr. Ergun Caner: An Arab-Christian, Part 1V676 —

Ancient wooden anchors preserved by natural salt for more than 2,000 years have been discovered on the receding shores of the Dead Sea. Archaeologist David Mevorach told the TV station that one anchor dated back 2,500 years — the oldest ever found. Another anchor was 2,000 years old, he said. They were built from acacia wood for Roman ships, he said. The Dead Sea, with no outlet, has a high concentration of salt. “The salt and the lack of oxygen in the water preserved them in a special way, including the ropes that were tied to the boat,” he said.

Goliath found?

A very small ceramic shard unearthed by Bar-Ilan University archaeologists digging at Tell es-Safi, the biblical city “Gath of the Philistines,” may hold a very large clue into the history of the well-known biblical figure Goliath. The shard, which contains the earliest known Philistine inscription ever to be discovered, mentions two names that are remarkably similar to the name “Goliath”. The discovery is of particular importance since the Bible attributes Gath as the home town of Goliath. “Gath of the Philistines,” was one of the major cities of the Philistines, the well-known arch-enemies of the Israelites in the biblical text.

Israel unveiled an underground archaeological site near the Western Wall on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, nearly a decade after the opening of an exhibit in the same area sparked widespread palestinian rioting. The latest discovery included a ritual bath, or Mikveh, from the period of the second Jewish Temple, destroyed in 70 A.D., and a wall that archaeologists said dates to the first Jewish Temple, destroyed in 586 B.C. The findings strengthen Jewish ties to the shrine also claimed by Muslims. The new tourist center snakes underground, adjacent to the path of the Western Wall, the last remaining retaining wall

Folks, I received the following in an email from the Shalem Center and I thought you would be interested in reading a preview article from the forthcoming issue of Azure, which explores the significance of Dr. Eilat Mazar’s recent finding in Jerusalem and the likelihood of whether it is, in fact, King David’s palace. The short essay is by David Hazony, editor-in-chief of Azure. The finding smashes prevailing theories in archaeology, Hazony writes: “Even if this is not in fact David’s palace, there is no doubt that we are still talking about an archaeological find of enormous moment. Whether it

Examples of Feats that Muslims take Credit For But Research Proves Otherwise

Palestinians are planning to rename the settlements in the Gaza Strip “to erase any memory” of Israel’s presence in the area. Muslims have, historically, destroyed non-Muslim culture anytime that they have conquered one. This is what Muslims are currently doing on the Temple Mount, Saudi Muslims are routinely shredding Bibles, Muslims have no hesitation in destroying Jewish cemeteries — after 1949, the Jordanians used Jewish headstones for latrines, Muslims destroyed the great Buddhist statues in Afghanistan, the list goes on. Destruction of other people’s cutures is their foul-stenched trademark. Folks, if Muslims were to leave the artifacts, archaeology, and buildings

Workers repairing a sewage pipe in the old city of Jerusalem have discovered the biblical Pool of Siloam, a freshwater reservoir that was a major gathering place for ancient Jews making religious pilgrimages to the city and the reputed site where Jesus cured a man blind from birth, the LOS ANGELES TIMES reports. The pool was fed by the now famous Hezekiah’s Tunnel and is “a much grander affair” than archeologists previously believed, with three tiers of stone stairs allowing easy access to the water, according to Hershel Shanks, editor of Biblical Archeology Review, which reported the find Monday. “Scholars
